KNOW

“Children are people, and they should have to reach to learn about things, to understand things, just as adults have to reach if they want to grow in mental stature. Life is composed of lights and shadows, and we would be untruthful, insincere, and saccharine if we tried to pretend there were no shadows. Most things are good, and they are the strongest things; but there are evil things too, and you are not doing a child a favor by trying to shield him from reality. The important thing is to teach a child that good can always triumph over evil.” ― Walt Disney Company

October 4, 2017 Dear Parents/Guardians, Holy Trinity Catholic School is preparing for our second annual Basket Bingo fundraiser featuring Longaberger Baskets, Designer Bags and accessories. The profits from this fundraiser assist the school in many ways and is one of the largest fundraisers that Holy Trinity has. It is a fun evening with family and friends. We are planning an exciting line up of baskets and bags to be won by many lucky winners. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, November 12th. The purpose of this letter is to ask for your generosity in helping us to fill our baskets and bags. You can help by making cash donations to be used to purchase items or by donating gift cards that can be used in the baskets or for the gift card tree. No amount is too small or large! We will then send out our team of shoppers to purchase theme items for each of the prizes! Please consider making a donation in whatever amount you are financially able to contribute. Donations may be sent to your child’s school. Please place it in an envelope and mark it “Basket Bingo Donation”. This fundraiser is one of our largest thanks to your generosity! We thank you in advance. Sincerely,

HTCS Basket Bingo Committee Erin Long, Chairperson Don’t forget – tickets are limited and over half are sold so make your reservations today by calling Sue Myers at 695-6112.
