Inclement Weather Plan Sadly, we cannot control the weather for Scout events… yet. But if there is inclement weather during our 2017 Cumberland Fall Camporee, the event administration will announce to everyone we are entering our inclement weather plan. The theme is Survival after all. You have your main plan, then a backup plan, then a backup to your backup plan, etc. etc. You do the best with what you have and keep going! 

Cornhole Toss o Details: This game never gets old. Leaders, if you have some cornhole boards please bring them. We will compete either scout vs. scout, or troop vs. troop. Jenga o Details: Who doesn’t love building stuff and knocking it down? Leaders, if you have a jenga set please bring it. This hysterical game will be great while we are following the inclement weather plan. Slingshots o Details: The slingshot competition will take place under an awning or porch. You better practice! This age-old weapon will determine which troop has the best aim. Fire building o Details: With some portable fire pits handy, we will see which Scouts can still build a fire in damp and humid condition. Scout Game o Details: There are hundreds if not thousands of Scout games. We will pick from the best to continue the challenges. Survival Construction o Details: This event can thankfully be held if there is bad weather. Build a device using wood and rope that can be used for survival purposes. You will be judged on neatness, purpose, and design.
